In April 1994, "Luoyang Glass" carried the glory of being the birthplace of float glass in China and embarked on a new journey.

Twenty eight years of wind and rain, twenty-eight years of singing like a song. On February 16, 2023, Luoyang Glass Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Kaisheng New Energy Co., Ltd. The development process of "Luoyang Glass" embodies the passion, hard work, and innovative wisdom of the people of Luoyang Glass and the new generation of Kaisheng. The company adheres to the core concept of "making good use of resources and serving construction", and insists on the enterprise quality of "integrity and trustworthiness, outstanding performance, courage and pragmatism, and continuous innovation". Several generations have been striving for progress, selfless dedication, and passing on the torch, from ordinary float glass to high-quality float glass, from high-quality float glass to electronic glass, from electronic glass to new energy glass, constantly challenging themselves and innovating technology.

In recent years, according to the "3+1" strategic layout of China National Building Materials Group and Kaisheng Technology Group's glass new materials, Kaisheng New Energy has accelerated the integration and development of its new energy business, promoted green manufacturing, green products, and green applications, and strived to become a leader in the integration of the new energy materials industry, an innovator in industrial upgrading, and a practitioner of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Kaisheng New Energy Co., Ltd. has become a high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in research and development and production of new energy materials, adapted to the development of strategic new industries, and entered a new stage of high-quality development.
